Charcoal Study



Charcoal StudyImage is an interior scene with a male figure a female figure and a                        third figure harder to distinguish The male and female figures are both                        wearing long robes with long sleeves The man is sitting on the right the                        woman is on the left He is bearded with long hair and a headpiece His left                        arm is extended outward his right hand is resting on his leg His foot is                        sticking out slightly from underneath the robe The womans right hand is                        clasping her left one loosely these hands are resting on the mans right                        shoulder She is shown in 3 4 face Her dark wavy hair is braided and secured                        by a headband In the background to the right of the mans shoulder is a                        hooded figure seated in front of a large window On the left side of the                        woman is a table with a figurine on it The artists signature and the date                        John Costa 93 are written in the bottom right The image is vertically                        displayed
