The Reflected Faun

The Reflected Faun

Faun satyr kneels on bank of a river stream pulling a small water lily toward his face with his right hand and holding a large lily in left hand The image is divided in half with the lower image reflecting the upper imperfectly the reflected version shows the faun embracing and kissing instead of lilies a naked figure of indeterminate gender with streaming hair In the background of the upper image pairs of white doves fly before a grove of trees the woods part to reveal open space in upper right The image is vertically displayed
