Robene and Makyn

Robene and MakynImage is of a girl Makyne and a boy Robene in a field The girl is placed to the centre right in the image and is holding a shepherds crook and wearing a dress and cape She has short light hair and there are some small flowers to the right of her feet The girl looks to the left back towards two lambs The two lambs lie in the grass, centred in the image. Behind the girl on her right side is a small stream There is a boy wearing a cap and lying down underneath bushes and behind a tree looking towards the lambs His position suggests that he is hidden There are sheep in an open space in the background The characters in the image seem to be based off of the characters in Robert Henrysons poem Robene and Makyne The image is in landscape orientation with a bold black bounding box around the image The artists signature is on the right of the image about one third up from the bottom corner The signature mark c rests at the bottom left of the page
